"Use" Button

Post by Jackard »

It'd be nice to have a button that functions as though you rightclicked whatever your character was facing at the time. Goes well with the number menus, especially handy if WASD movement is added.

it might actually replace Lift as key #1 in my hotbar

Agree. Also Lift's #2 for me. Harvest #1.

You still have to click the object to face it though... :?:

I doubt we'll ever see WASD movement implemented, but if it is then yes, this would need to be added, as well as an entire overhaul of the control system.

As it stands now though it's essentially useless if you're already clicking the object to stand in front of it.

this isnt always the case! sometimes you click the same object more than once

but yes it would be more useful with the addition of WASD

Would love to see this and WASD.

Would this also work on things automatically like 'using' wagon (Ride or Open?) and Cart? What about inventory objects like waterflask?
