Not the best I think I have some Java problems...

Post by Moomoomilk »

I had no problem starting the game up until I tried to login although it keeps popping a strange message over and over preventing me from loging in. I'm using a windows xp professional (Since its the only thing to work with at the time being...) and this is the code

Code: Select all

I think it's about your graphic card, can you update its software?

Do you use the latest Java?
Java7u65
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... 80261.html
recommended

(Java8u11
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... 33155.html)

You need to check what graphic hardware is in your machine - on PC you DL the latest driver from manufacturer (AMD, Nvidia, Intel)
on Notebook you need to look at the Notebook manufacturers page

The worst case might be graphic hardware that's too old to be supported by needed jogl :'(

A fix might be to reduce the graphic depht to 16 Bit (normal is 32 Bit)

if it doesn't help give informations about the AMD chip please or try with this AMD tool to detect automaticly what drivers you need
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool

also disable "Triple Buffering" in CCC Settings for 3D / OpenGL

You probably have AMD ATI driver and it cant swap the memory. That means "old drivers".

Ah, thank you. I guess I'll have to get a new computer or a driver. Thank you for helping me with the problem anyways.
