realm territory?

Post by iamahh »

when you click realm button it shows an existing overlay, even without realm

I thought it was a bug, but now I found a "territory border", one side red, other green

so I guess it's not a bug?

It is not.

They are probably thingwall radiuses.

my (wild) theory is that the world is already divided into 'regions' with a "thingwall" in each (exception being the ocean). Realms will have to claim each regions by placing a thingamagig (tm kirion) anywhere in a region.

Why would they place a thingamagig when there are already Thingwalls and we have seen from the trailer that they can have banners?

Could be some sort of authority object that has to be placed and protected for some time before ownership can be claimed over that region.
