There are bots and few players left on the server. Imo they should sell the game asap and retire

Do you think that'd actually be good for the game? I don't . .
This isn't ideal, but it's way better than the alternative of remaking this game into another slop that will die in few months.

yes, better one good quality patch a week made by new devs than months of absence or troll weekly zzz birb made by current ones

Fostik wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 8:56 am You see, most playerbase doesn't come in first 2 months of a new world and don't see this ganks and other pvp cruelty, they mostly live totally outside of pvp, never see ganks or raids.
Instead, a list of other issues they face, like unable to progress in mine without crazy stat numbers, gating mechanics created for those top veteran players you mentioned, and other hardships that simply doesn't make haven a casual game.
Yes I agree, yet I've met many people including myself with the attitude of "I will play until I get griefed, face a major setback, reach a block in progression, or get bored, then will try again in a year"
These are the players the devs should be working on retaining, not the same 100-odd players that linger until the bitter end every time. There is a reason the spikes in player count don't last.

Also worth noting, cruelty need not be limited just to ganks and PvP; I know plenty relish the opportunity to take advantage naivety in this game through other means. Baiting people with items and trades, gaining advantage through custom clients, bug, bot, and naked alt abuse, and especially abusing others' lack of knowledge of crucial game mechanics like visitor, mines, claims, walls & sieges is a mainstay - mechanics which are all already way too overdeveloped to try to deal with player bullshit.

I'm sure it's happened to many of us, and most folks who have absolutely fucked me and others over in the most dishonest ways since legacy are still here pulling the same shit. I'm not sure why the devs overestimate their place in the community so much, they just make them the most money I guess, but I reckon they'll always keep discussions on new ideas to fundamentally change this game for the better to a minimum.

I think it heavily depends on what a new dev might want to do with the game, but overall I would say bringing in new devs without any history with the toxic community or sense of respect for the pervasive culture of this game would probably be a good thing. Let them tear it up, I say.
