I see... Technically, UA could find a use for a pommel attack. Also, punch is okay as an endgame attack, but not as a primary one. Also, i can't see a reason why not make a parry stance which could be 1xMelee instead of shield's 1.25 (buff the shields also, probably?). Right now i don't see the combat as a fight, i see it more like atk/def/hp changes.

Boxing gloves made from wool and linen would be nice for spars.
Perhaps giving an ability to pick how much wool you want to put in would regulate the damage. (for all the customization you need)

Oh how would they be nice for spars if you use spars also to test your UA damage?

Was bored, so I made a picture with some weapons.
From left to right: stone spear, knife, stone sword

Then change the gray into brown if that makes you happy.
I think that a wooden sword wouldn't be good for combat. It would probably break when you hit something, so a stone sword seems a bit better.

You're actually not bad at emulating the artstyle of the game rads. Your sword looks way too flat though. I don't mean to be hating your creativity but it seemed worthwhile enough to point out.

obsidian swords-- was looking for a couple of good examples, but not seeing any other than that Aztec version of it.
