Re: Game Development: Crystal Patch
This is best thing i've read in ages. Amazing patch. The more cheese gets taken down, the healthier this game will be in the end.maze wrote:After testing my traps, and trying to lure animals.
The shadow patch to animals is they no longer enter claims.
This kills my whale trap, mammoth trap, slime traps, cave louse traps, trap traps, ect traps that I had to take 10 mins to redesign them.![]()
I don't say this in a joking manner
(this pic render like shit because my service that host my image is down...)

I don't necessarily disagree with that, but the devs have a tendency to handle such mechanics changes rather poorly. Their main focus should be on combat which changing would inevitably result in other "cheese" methods being formed instead of resolving things that may not even be an issue going forward from that point.Zepar72 wrote:The more cheese gets taken down, the healthier this game will be in the end.
As is obvious, the only result for fixing those methods right now is creating frustration for players considering the poor state of combat.

Yea, i dont say this is a perfect solutions. But by this point, i can even accept "spray and pray" method of developement over not doing anything at all. This might be a step toward a better combat in the end, even if that happens in 3 worlds from nowKaios wrote:

.
And since this is an experimental world, i find this completely justified.

Are the underground wells unrelated to the Q of water there? It's a separate node from deep/shallow water, unlike on the surface?
